Insolvency Law, Restructuring, Reorganisation

We assist creditors and investors as well as debtors and their shareholders before, during and after insolvency proceedings. In particular, we assist in the defence of insolvency-specific claims, especially in the area of liability claims and insolvency contestations. We provide support when an application for insolvency proceedings shall be filed, develop continuation scenarios and insolvency plans, and also take care of settlements with creditors or the defence against possible directors' or shareholders' liability after the application for insolvency proceedings has been filed.

Corporate Law

We are at the disposal of businesses and companies, their shareholders, members of management, boards of directors, supervisory boards and advisory boards as well as founders in all matters of corporate law.

We advise on the formation of companies and the transfer of shares in companies, assist with the drafting of articles of association and support the implementation of (contentious) shareholders' meetings as well as capital and structural measures, in particular in the context of financing rounds. We advise on the entry and exit of shareholders as well as the dissolution or termination of companies.

In connection with disputes between shareholders or with the company, we advise on all liability issues, in particular insolvency-related issues which may arise for shareholders, companies and their management in the context of corporate law.

Real Estate Law

Our advice on real estate matters includes not only the acquisition and sale of properties, but above all the (re)financing of property projects and related issues, including insolvency and enforcement law. In this context, we also support our clients in terms of property optimisation with rental and lease agreements, including the enforcement of and defence against claims. Thanks to our many years of expertise and good network, we also represent our clients in all matters of real estate brokerage law.

Civil Law/General Commercial Law

In addition to our main practice areas of insolvency, corporate and real estate law, we also advise our clients on issues of labour and employment contract law, assist in the drafting and implementation of contracts, in particular those relating to commercial law, and the drafting of general terms and conditions.

Litigation

We do not only provide advice, but also enforce our clients' claims or assist in the defence of claims. If an out-of-court solution is not successful, we also advise and represent our clients in the judicial clarification of the disputed points. For more than 15 years, we have been active in this area before regional and higher regional courts throughout Germany. The aim is to find economically viable and, above all, realisable solutions that pacify the parties and avoid the threat of subsequent issues.
